Note: This demo uses Scrivener 1 for Windows
One of my favorite places to hang out these days is over on author Sarra Cannon’s Heart Breathings Word Sprint Challenge group on Facebook. We do lots of live word sprints and virtual writing retreats over there, and everyone is so supportive and encouraging to each other. I love it.
At their invitation, I did an in-depth demonstration of how to start a Scrivener project from scratch and showed how to use both basic features and a few more advanced tips and tricks. In the demo, I set up a novel prep workbook based on Sarra’s October 8th “Planning My New Novel” video from her YouTube channel and then covered compiling a Word document from Scrivener, as well as importing an existing Word file into Scrivener. If you’ve been wanting to try out Scrivener but didn’t know where to start, you might find this helpful.
And if you want more helpful behind-the-scenes advice about being an author, be sure to check out Sarra’s Heart Breathings YouTube channel. It really is one of the best of its kind.
