About Amy Beatty

Amy Beatty is the author of two on-going novel series and has had short stories selected for inclusion in multiple anthologies. Her debut novel, Dragon Ascending (2018) was recommended highly by Orson Scott Card (Author of Ender’s Game) as “an extraordinarily entertaining and innovative treatment of dragons.”

Amy teaches fiction writing in the Community Education department at Utah Valley University and has been a presenter at conferences such as FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention; Life, the Universe, & Everything Writing Symposium; and Teen Author Bootcamp.
